Description

This pc is the result of me finaly getting the motivation to move on from my hp envy (795-08) from early 2018 (OEM 1050ti, I7 8700 and 8Gb ddr4@2666 mhz) who was not really good. Tried to go for the best bang for the buck with a 1300€ budget, transplanted the boot drive and the 870 qvo i added to my previous system. The inno 3D 3070ti works well, managing to be entierely passive at idle and stay within reasonable temps with the not so great airflow. In general performance, it can run every single game i have at 1080p cranked over 100-150 fps, didn't test 1440p or 4K bc i don't have monitors for those resolutions, exept the UE5 city sample demo beacause of a lack of ram. The 5600X causes no bottlenecks in gaming but holds back a bit on shader compiling for UE5 and large model imports/exports. The motherboard is quite fancy with 10 gig ethernet build in, wifi works great but the usb 3 connector is tricky to put in, reccomend planning and carefulness with this case. Case airflow is good for a solid front panel, cable management is easy (exept for the aftormentioned usb 3 header, and the 24 pin, also reccomend pre-installing the cpu power connectors ). The 32 gigs of ram are overkill for most applications, and reccomend buying a cooler, wich i am going to do.
Edit1: temps were with ~25-26°c ambient, now with <19°C the gpu(110% power limit)peaks at 79°C and i didn't stress test the cpu again.
Update 1 (25/12/2022) : Just ordered a NH-U14S, receiving it tuesday
Update 1.1 (1/01/2023) : Installed the cooler, straightfoward but long, the results are impressive : +400 points in cinebench R23 (10734) at 66.7 degrees peak (open side panel) and at the same noise level than the old idle .
I lost my phone so i got no pictures yet.
Update 1.1 (3/01/2023) : Photos !
Update 1.3 (5/01/2023) : set every oc parameter to auto and got 11446 multicore and 1513 single core in cinebench R23, 73 degrees max while gaming and cpu stress testing.

Part Reviews

CPU

Works as advertised, about all you need for gaming, but struggles a bit in productivity.

CPU Cooler

Incredibely quiet. Way overkill, keeps my cpu at 73 degrees Celsius under full load (5600X oc to 4.51 Ghz all core), build quality is great, packaging straight foward. Also incredibely happy as it fits within a litteral millimeter of my side panel and Ram

Motherboard

Heavy. Wifi works great, the M.2 heat spreader is a nice touch even if i don't need it (yet). VRM's are buffed.

Storage

Cheap decently fast and sips power ("hot" swapped it from my pc, was cold after 5 hours of game updates)

Video Card

Ebay seller was a bit dodgy but is really quiet, silent mode is a nice feature, cooling is overkill (with 110% power limit barely reaching 78@19°C ambient temp.)

Case

Definitely would recommend the mesh version. The 2x120 fans are nice even if they aren't exactly quiet at lower speeds, and only move about as much air as the 120 from my previous computer (at a much lower sound level though)

Power Supply

Is really good, never heard the fans spin up yet even at 380~watts load, hasen't exploded yet, the evga included velcro is the highest quality velcro i seen
