First time PC build, first time water cooling, first time for any of this.
I've always been interested in water cooled PCs and how awesome they look but wasn't ready to invest in something like that yet. Until my little sister took over my only laptop. Then I decide what the heck why not just go all out now and do it and just learn along the way. I did have a friend help me connect and test all the components first to make sure everything worked and I didn't blow something up. But other then that I replaced all the hardware with waterblocks, created the loop, cut and bent all the acrylic tubing. No leaks.
I'm all about aesthetics and the hardware itself is powerful enough for everything I'm going to use it for anyways so that's why I focused half the budget on just water cooling. It's overkill but you can't say it's not unique. I wanted to go for a deconstructed yet clean look. My other main focus was to integrate it into my loft somehow and what better way then to build it into the wall of it. The PC is about 4ft tall and 14in wide total and sits between two 2x4 studs. Each component is mounted on the sheathing with standoff spacers and screws between them. So all the wire and things are managed on the other side of the wall so everything looks clean. Filling the loop was the trickiest part but I figure it out after 2-3 tries. Which is why there is a pump at the bottom and top to create enough flowrate.
Of course I would change somethings, and would like to fix some of the bends but overall I think it looks better the I imagined in the beginning and it was worth it. The funnest part was just doing the build itself. I'm still working on the desk setup, art, and decorations.

Note: I know I could have invested more in performance and made a generic PC but that's not what this was about. This is a passion build and meant to be another art piece in my home that I can enjoy.
