Description

I built this PC for a friend of mine. It’ll primarily be used for gaming.

It’s my first time building on the AM5 platform and it was pretty straight forward.

Part Reviews

CPU

Excellent budget chip in 2024. Not much to say that hasn't already been said.

CPU Cooler

Extremely easy to install, cheap and quiet. Keeps an R5 7600 at very reasonable temps.

Motherboard

Reasonably priced with a great feature set. Cannot ask for much more.

Memory

Cheapest 32 GB kit of 6000 CL 30 at the time of purchase.

Storage

Cheapest 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD at the time of purchase.

Video Card

Runs quiet and looks pretty sleek. I have never had any issues with Gigabyte video cards.

Case

Still a very solid case in 2024. My friend wanted to use it specifically in their build. It wouldn't be my first choice as it is beginning to show its age (i.e. HDD cage is riveted to the chassis).

Power Supply

Solid ATX 3.0 PSU. It is very well reviewed considering its price.

Really clean looking build btw I was wondering how did sync the rgb of the cpu and the case fans together?

Thanks. For simplicities sake, everything is hooked up to the ARGB/fan hub that comes with the case.
