Description

Built by me. Runs everything perfectly fine and temps are pretty solid. I know a lot of people will comment on the cpu cooler & gpu.. but I'm just not a huge fan of liquid cooling or vertical mounted gpu's. I understand a lot of people like those, but I personally like the looks of cpu mounted cooling fans.

An upgrade in the future could be a better cpu mounted setup or possibly just upgrading the two stock fans that came with the Thermalright Peerless Assassin to two Lian Li Uni Fan SL-Infinity.

The custom cables are cable extensions from CableMod. I could have done replacement cables with them, but I was scared of outright plugging custom cables into the power supply. I wish I did more combs for the 24pin ATX & 8pin EPS, but that's not the worst. I also bought some other types to make the whole build have CableMod showing, but cable management was getting hectic. In any case, this looks way better than the stock cables that are hidden in the dual chamber. Here is their storefront if you're interested: https://store.cablemod.com

Part Reviews

Thermal Compound

I've always loved this thermal paste.

Memory

Has been solid ram sticks. I don't love the colors that come from it, so the RGB has been off for most color profiles I've used so far.

Storage

Great for storage.

Video Card

Worth the little extra when building a white build for the 4080 super line.

Case

This case looks so amazing inside and out. It was also really nice to work with for cable management. Really worth the price point when comparing to other leading dual chamber cases.

This video from Gamers Nexus sold me on this case: https://youtu.be/yJAq2H52A2A?si=OPoMq52rJAlhrMf3

Power Supply

Pretty solid power supply, no complaints.

Case Fan

I love these fans so much.

Case Fan

I love these fans so much.

Case Fan

I love these fans so much.

Monitor

This monitor has been amazing over the years. I don't really need this size anymore because I only really bought it for some games I used to play.. but many games are still OK in windowed mode. A handful of games can take advantage of the 5120 x 1440 (and when they do, it's so captivating).

Monitor

Recent new additions to my setup. I upgraded from 24" monitors from 2012 and it's light and day difference. Beautiful monitors.

Keyboard

First time I've gone wireless on a gaming keyboard and I've loved it so far. The keys sound and feel lovely.

Speakers

I don't use speakers too often, but these have been amazing.

Hi! I recommend reaching out to their support team for advice/support. They were helpful with me when I showed my build and what I'm thinking would work.

But, I used their custom build option for extensions. They do have options to outright replace the cables for your PSU (but you need to make sure you select the right one). Again, I highly suggest emailing/speaking with their support.

Hi! Sorry for getting back late. The GPU Support Bracket came with the GPU itself!

Nice build, did you turn off the RGB on the RAM because you thought it looks better without it ?

The RGB on the RAM is hard to match with the fans. W/e they did for the RGB for the RAM is slightly different and just looks better off with most color combinations.

I have it on atm with a dark blue/purple combination and it's still a little off.. but it's the best I've seen it.
