Either absolutely silent or absolutely overkill for my build, I never hear it. Color very nice with the other grayscales in my build.

from completed build Mini ITX Build 2024

Small, compact and all black which was everything I was looking for in a CPU cooler for a Mini-ITX build. It cools the CPU nicely without any issue.

The Noctua NH-U9S has worked very well. The mounting hardware it comes with only allows for horizontal airflow, but only two emails with Noctua got me a free mounting kit that allows for vertical airflow which is optimal for my case. For those curious the kit is the NM-AM5/4-MP78 chromax.black (78mm mounting pitch). https://noctua.at/en/nm-am5-4-mp78-chromax-black-mounting-kit

Cooling champ. Gets loud when working hard, but keeps the 11700 under 75C even at 4.4 Ghz, 100% utilization. When I moved out of the ITX build into the Cooler Master N200, I re-mounted it for vertical draft (instead of the traditional horizontal draft mounting). Re-pasted using Arctic MX4 thermal paste and it has been solid. Zero complaints.

If I were building from scratch in the N200, I would have gone with the U12S for quieter performance, but didn't see any reason to replace the U9S given that it performs so well.

    from completed build SFF Blackout

Needed a small cooler for my SFF build, this one fits and does a very good job keeping my 5600X3D cool. Very quiet and solidly built, noctua quality. I did spend more for the black one but it fits my look better.

from completed build My first ever build

Excellent and quiet, I had to add an extra intake to get more cooling for my CPU.

Tiny and mighty. Noctua wins out every time in air-cooling, and this tiny tower is no exception. It keeps the 11400 under here quite far under it's thermal ceiling.

This has so far been the best thing about the PC so far. its amazing how cool this cooler gets for how small/compact it is . long term use could be an issue but we shall see.
