Fantastic budget GPU, stays pretty quiet while gaming and works fantastic. Performance is very well for the intended use case.

A great performing video card but the single fan can get a bit loud under full load.

Its runs surprisingly quietly while gaming and benchmarking. Thermals are not the best obviously but no throttling happens with any play duration I tested at stock speeds.

Went for a blower card as I knew I'd be using it in pretty small cases. I think this was the right call, but it is a little hot and noisy under load. Doesn't thermal throttle, but when the fan spins up to high revs it's an audible buzz. I've also noticed a little coil whine - not particularly loud or annoying though. I think it's only started since I switched to the SF450 PSU as I never noticed it when using a RM450 in my previous case.

Performance wise it's great. More than enough horsepower for the resolution I game at (2560x1080). And I like the look of it too - not too gaudy.

Purchased this particular card because of the black/white color scheme I was going for. Good base overclock in this card. Only thing I don't like about the card, and this is really minor, is that the "AERO" text on the side of the card isn't backlit; only the MSI logo is lit. Would have been nice for MSI to follow suit of other manufacturers and lit all the edge writing on the card.

Amazing card! Not too big a fan of this particular model but I have 2 case fans blowing right to it so its never breached 70c. This was the cheapest 1070 and the only one in stock when I bought it.

from completed build Project: N - Gaming/Editing Build

This card is probably the best looking 10 series out there in my opinion other than the Founder's Editions. I went with a blower style because I have 3 fans in the front blowing a lot of air to the rear. The GPU can just suck it in and cool itself.
